It is my husband's favorite- tied only with the portobella sandwich (which is beyond belief).
If you think the menu is not creative I don't know what to say. One night I had the most delicious pheasant and another the lamb...the fact that it is locally sourced makes me love it even more. The meats are crazy tender!!!Beth M Bnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7700721558717637465.post-37369486042283004102011-03-14T09:21:35.553-04:002011-03-14T09:21:35.553-04:00We tried this place on Friday night. I got the mac & cheese entree that was a special and thought it was good but boring and would have been better as a side dish. They haven't been open long though and I will give them another chance. It can at least be a good place to go for drinks since it's close to home.carrie annnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7700721558717637465.post-74322491225006681422011-03-10T15:23:15.632-05:002011-03-10T15:23:15.632-05:00Citynomnoms- Honey mustard. I do appreciate all the local products though. That is always a good thing.

Beffuh: yeah, I couldn't get the website to do much either which is frustrating. I hoped it would be fixed by the time I posted this.

Angie: I did not see any kids menu while I was there. Sorry! I've been curious to try this place, but wondering if it's better to go just the hubs and I first. It would be so nice to have another alternative to all the chains on that side of town.Angie @ Just Like The Numberhttp://www.justlikethenumber.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7700721558717637465.post-91539586282910597982011-03-10T10:48:08.394-05:002011-03-10T10:48:08.394-05:00Is it just me or does their website not helpful at...Is it just me or does their website not helpful at all? The portobella sandwich, the ribeye sandwich, and yes, the tenderloin were out of this world.
You also forgot to mention that all pork and poultry come from Gunthorp Farms in LaGrange. This is pretty huge. They also have great draft beer list, carry local spirits and mixers and have a nifty retail section.
We live in Broad Ripple, and have no problem justifying the drive north for their great service and wonderful food.Hoosier Mommhttp://www.hoosiermomma.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7700721558717637465.post-43821090419951178742011-03-10T08:18:10.026-05:002011-03-10T08:18:10.026-05:00Brent, that is a good point, they do have "Pu...Brent, that is a good point, they do have "Pub" in the name, although the interior is a little more modern than most "Pubs" I have seen. But much of the menu is certainly pub oriented. And I think I may agree with you on the flatbread thing. The good part is that it sounds like some things were better than average. Also, a lot of places now are offering these flatbreads as apps and I can't recall ever having a good one. If I'm in the mood for something like a pizza I'll probably just go somewhere where I can get good pizza.Brenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15745494971734383617noreply@blogger.com
