My husband loves going to Conner Station/Copper Still since they have a great selection of local beers. The food has been very hit and miss lately for me with my favorites disappearing after each visit. I don't eat red meat and the menu doesn't seem to have many other options. I'm hoping Brad Gates gets it settled down with some good options soon. I've head several people say the pickles are gross too.Indy Cycle Chicnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7700721558717637465.post-51566738075540978862012-12-18T21:00:41.166-05:002012-12-18T21:00:41.166-05:00I also like Rosie's a lot, it's classic lo...I also like Rosie's a lot, it's classic local cooking, and the baked goods are excellent. The new Conner Station at the corner of 10th Street and Conner (one of the corners on the Square) is getting better since it opened a few months ago ... and they're in the process of re-naming it to the Copper Still, with menu changes under the guidance of Brad Gates. A recent trip there revealed some amazing pulled-pork nachos but pretty gross fried pickle chips. I personally prefer their lunch over the breakfast but I've yet to be disappointed in either. I'm glad you liked it. For the longest time I didn't think I liked basil and now I have been obsessed with trying to recreate that mayo to have at home.

Next time, you will definitely have to try their signature gooey butter cake. It's pretty amazing.Erin Beaglehttp://twitter.com/embeaglenoreply@blogger.com
