They also have the most amazing chicken fried steak and desserts are worth saving room. For me, the best chain for fried chicken is Popeye's - love that spicy fry and buttery biscuits. They must use magic lard because the waffles just melt in your mouth. With that said, I like Maxines and have been very happy eating there.
